High Definition Transfers

Every day you are gambling with your precious memories! Videotape begins to degrade as soon as you record on it, and can suffer serious information loss after only a few short years. Once tape has degraded to a certain point, there is little that can be done to restore the original quality of your footage.  Don't you think it's better to put Mikey's first birthday party in the hands of experienced professionals with the highest quality equipment available, rather than expose it to even one more day of abuse?

VHS / S-VHS / VHS-C
By far the most commonly used videotape format in the 1980's and 90's, VHS stands for Video Home System.
BetaMax
Betamax, the first home videotape format, was introduced by Sony in 1975 but eventually lost out to the VHS format.
Hi-8 /  Video8
Hi-8 and Video8 are used in camcorders.  They cannot be viewed in VHS players, and must be played in the camcorder (which can then be attached to a TV).
Mini DV
Mini DV tapes store video digitally and are the smallest of all video formats.
Digital8
Digital8 uses the same media as Hi-8 and Video8. However, unlike Hi-8 and Video8, Digital8 stores footage digital format rather than analog.

When we say that we spare no expense in bringing you the highest quality transfer, we aren't kidding.

Our BetaMax equipment is so rare and sought after that it is classified amongst collectors as one of the elite "Dream Machines".  It is one of the few BetaMax players in the world to have S-Video and Extended Definition capability.

What does that mean for you?  Your BetaMax tapes are processed in crisp digital quality with 500 lines of resolution! DVD movies have only 480 lines!
