How many of my images can fit on a disc?
We will transfer your images to either CD
or DVD according to your preference, but we recommend using the
following information to make your decision.
A CD can hold up to 700MB of information, while a DVD holds up
to 4500MB. A slide or picture scanned at 2000 dpi in the
JPEG format weighs in at around 3MB, while at 4000dpi it will
take up about 12MB. That gives you around 200-300 images
at 2000 dpi and 50-75 images at 4000 dpi on CD. On DVD,
you will be able to hold 1500 images at 2000 dpi and 375 images
at 4000 dpi.
